Danila Sentyabov

Hi!

A full-face photo of a man in a casual suit, wearing glasses.
I'm Danila.
I help businesses implement AI and automation where it actually makes sense, not just because some consultant with a fresh MBA told them they need to “embrace digital transformation or die.”
My background includes being CIO/CISO in a tech company, CEO of an animation studio, and founder of one of the largest Russian-speaking ADHD support communities.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

Twenty years ago, I started as a field engineer — setting up servers, fixing networks, implementing what the sales team had promised not caring too much if it was possible in the first place. I worked my way up to CIO and CISO position at a major systems integrator. I designed and equipped industrial facilities, airports, and critical infrastructure — systems where mistakes cost millions.
Then I made a radical shift and took over an animation studio started by a friend of mine. Within a few years, I grew it from a small team of artists to a production powerhouse with 200+ employees, creating TV series for major networks. I learned to manage creative chaos while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards, navigating international copyright law and complex tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
In 2022, I handed over studio management back to my co-founder and focused on volunteer work, creating an online support community for people with ADHD. In three years, it grew to 7,000 members and became a vital resource for the Russian-speaking neurodivergent community — with a marketing budget of zero, run entirely by volunteers.
Throughout all this, I never stopped coding, exploring new technologies, and finding ways to make teams more efficient. I've been experimenting with neural networks for over a decade, and since LLMs became mainstream, I use them daily in my work.

Today I help companies:

  • Automate repetitive tasks to free up time for what matters
  • Implement AI tools without overpaying for hype
  • Build processes that work with people, not against them
  • Cut through marketing noise to understand what technology can actually deliver
Think of me as your AI skeptic-in-residence. I've been around long enough to see the cloud hype, the blockchain revolution, and now the great AI awakening. The pattern is always the same: 90% noise, 10% genuinely useful stuff that can transform your business if you're smart about it.
I don't sell “revolutionary AI solutions” or promise to “disrupt your industry with game-changing synergies.” Instead, I find the 10% of AI tools that aren't complete bullshit and implement them in ways that make your team's lives easier, not more complicated. My journey from fixing servers to running companies means I can spot both technical snake oil and executive wishful thinking from a mile away.

I'm always happy to meet for coffee in Novi Sad, Serbia (where I live with my wife and daughter) or Belgrade.
I write about technology, productivity, AI, and life with neurodivergence.
The most important stuff is here, on my site. You can find the rest elsewhere:
